Unseen, Unheard, Unhoused
A not-for-profit with a rare mission: long-term homes for people living with chronic mental illness, specifically schizophrenia. In a system that defaults to short-term fixes, Habilis asked us to help them build understanding, credibility, and support – so they could break the costly cycle of homelessness, hospitalisation, and incarceration.
Outcome
We built the Habilis identity around a single idea: breaking the pattern. The brand mark and graphic system move from fractured to whole, echoing the journey from crisis to stability. Honest, warm portrait photography puts people – not just places – at the centre. Messaging is purposeful and direct, speaking to both urgency and hope. The result: a flexible system that builds trust and makes Habilis’ vision visible to residents, families, government, and donors alike.
Why it matters
Mental illness and homelessness are often hidden, misunderstood, or ignored. Habilis is proof that with the right support, a better outcome is possible. This brand tells that story with honesty and optimism – helping Habilis lead the way for real, lasting change.
