For over 36,000 years the Bungawalbin Valley has been a centre of healing. Home to the unique and powerful Melaleuca Alternafolia tea trees, the region supplies the world with the highest quality tea tree oil, famed for its antibacterial and antimicrobial qualities. With access to such a pristine location, the team at Meluka Australia busied themselves with establishing healthy hives to produce natural, organic honey amid the organic plantations and old-growth forests.
From a place of perfection
After an appetite for Meluka honey was proven with local health stores and distributors, a rebrand was undertaken to take them to the next stage. We evolved all aspects of the brand to centre on their amazing story and location – natural colours and textures, alongside inspirational photography, video and language. The print finishing and production was elevated to reflect a more premium offering, helping the jars to jump out on the increasingly competitive honey shelf.
Sweet success
Within the first year of rebranding, Meluka Australia was buzzing – expanding their distribution network to cover all Australian states (excl. WA), as well as securing distribution and ranging in China and the USA, both in-store and online.
