Awwww yeeeaaah
For a creative team of beer lovers, this one was super refreshing! The Aw Yeah guys approached us with a great name and an even better beer. Created as the antithesis to the craft beer onslaught, Aw Yeah is an easy-drinking, crowd-pleasing, good ol’ fashioned beer – brewed for day-long sessions in the Aussie sun.
Back to basics
We loved the name, so we just had to work backward from there. Once we landed on the brand idea “The Answer to Beer”, everything began to flow easily… Wanna drink? Aw Yeah! Dave’s BBQing? Aw Yeah! Sick of fancy, hoppy XYZPA beers? Aw Yeah! Next, we knew the can had to honour the essence of the beer. Nothing fancy or fussy – just straight-up type, a few undeniably Aussie colours, and a graphic nod to a well-poured schooner, and we knew we’d cracked it.
Smashing it
The brand is going down a treat, with the third production run currently underway. Sales through independent bars and bottlos have been strong, with customers really responding to the classic look and feel.
