Towards a brighter future

Maroo is a First Nations-led, profit-for-purpose enterprise delivering property and facilities management services across 11,500+ sites nationally. With deep roots in Wiradjuri culture, they create meaningful employment opportunities for underrepresented Australians. Maroo needed a brand identity that would honour their cultural heritage while establishing credibility in the competitive property services sector – positioning them as a partner of choice for government and corporate clients.

Stronger together

We developed a brand identity grounded in connection. The concept brings together people, place, and purpose – balancing professional confidence with cultural warmth. Every element speaks to collaboration and collective progress, reflecting Maroo’s ‘stronger together’ philosophy.

Pathways of time

At the heart of the identity is bespoke artwork by Brittney Angus, a proud Wiradjuri/Ngunnawal woman. Grounded in the meaning of Maroo – “pathway” or “track” – this concept anchors the series in the cultural understanding that movement is not only physical, but relational and generational. Pathways exist in tracks on Country, in moments of gathering, and in the passing on of knowledge. Together, these works reflect the journey as layered: those who walk with us, those who walked before us, and those who will follow.

With a nationwide presence and a proudly values-led approach, Maroo is redefining what it means to do business with purpose – forging lasting pathways where community, connection, legacy, and performance move forward together.

The heart of the identity is a bespoke artwork series by Brittney Angus, a proud Wiradjuri/Ngunnawal woman:

“Each artwork represents a different expression of movement through time: the paths we walk, the places we gather, and the stories that continue beyond us.”

“Our new brand, website and capability statement have fundamentally changed how Maroo is perceived. We now present as a professional, national organisation with the confidence to stand alongside some of Australia's largest facilities management providers.”
